My brand new camera phone is one of a series of works
which arouse out of a desire to portray the uneasy meeting between opposite poles of the hierarchy system.
This drawing represents a young girl, who lives in her own 'Happy Land', and a dead body from another world.
In this way, I have tried to depict these awkward meetings which each of us may have to face in our day-to-day lives.For a girl such as this, the product of our materialistic society, an encounter with a strange body from another world is likely to mean little more than whiling away the time, having with her brand new camera phone.
